✨ A New Direction… But the Same Heart

If you’ve been following The Right Path for any length of time, you might’ve noticed something’s changed. Yep… it’s no longer being developed as a video game.

But don’t worry — that’s actually good news.

Better than good. It’s God-led.

In this post, I’m going to share the heart behind that decision — why The Right Path is becoming a streaming series instead, why it will always be 100% free, and how technology (believe it or not) is finally catching up to the vision that started this whole journey.

It’s honest. It’s hopeful. And it’s full of life — just like the story itself.

Let’s dive in.

📺 Why the Switch from a Game to a TV Series?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to make a video game. A real one. Not just fan fiction or scribbles in a notebook — I’m talking full-blown, playable, immersive awesomeness. All I needed was the right story.

Well, I got it.

The Right Path became that story — a story so powerful, it wrote itself into nearly 2,000 pages. (Yes, two thousand. That’s not a typo. That’s what happens when you combine divine inspiration, stubbornness, and a bottomless coffee pot.)

But then… something happened.

God happened.

I know — that’s a pretty big plot twist. But it’s the truth. What started as a game project turned into something deeper. Something bigger. Something... more alive.

You see, The Right Path isn’t just a story anymore — it’s a calling. And while it still has game-like elements (cutscenes, choices, suspense, emotional arcs), the narrative itself outgrew the format. The story kept expanding. The gameplay? Not so much.

And that became a problem.

Because when your “cutscene” turns into a nearly two-hour cinematic rollercoaster… no gamer — I repeat, no gamer — is going to sit through that without angrily mashing buttons and screaming, “WHEN DO I GET TO PLAY AGAIN?!”

The truth is, The Right Path wasn’t behaving like a game anymore. It was behaving like a series. A living, breathing, episodic journey — and it wanted to be seen, not paused. Lived, not just played.

Then there’s this: the modern gaming industry is doing everything it can to insert agendas into the medium. That includes The Right Path, in a way — though not the kind you're used to.

You see, The Right Path doesn’t push a political ideology — but a faith-based one.

That means God. That means truth. That means light in dark places.

And sure, some folks will label that “political” because faith and culture can’t always be separated these days. But I’m not here to chase approval. I’m here to chase purpose.

So, what do you do when your game turns into something sacred?

You let it grow.

You let it become what it was always meant to be.

Even if that means turning it into a TV series or a free streaming experience — even if that means putting it on YouTube if I have to.

Because this story isn’t about selling a product. It’s about sharing a path.

And that path is The Right Path.

💸 Why the Series WILL Be Free

So if The Right Path is turning into a TV show or streaming series... how much would you, the viewer, have to pay?

NOTHING.

Yep, you read that right.

Not a dime. Not a nickel. Not even a pocket lint offering.

Why?

Because from day one — even back when this was a game — my philosophy has been simple:

If Jesus gave freely, so should I.

The Right Path was never meant to be a cash cow. It was meant to be a light in a very dark world — a gift, not a product.

Jesus Christ went to the cross knowing full well the pain that awaited Him — and He did it anyway.

Willingly.

Freely.

So that you and I could know the love of God in the deepest way imaginable.

And if that was given freely…How could I possibly slap a price tag on this?

This series — this story that God placed in my heart — is my humble response to the Great Commission.

Matthew 28:19 says:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”

That’s what this is.

Not a business model. Not a subscription service.

But a calling.

If this series reaches even just one person — if one soul begins walking The Right Path because of something they saw, heard, or felt through it — then it was worth everything.

🤖 Advancements in Technology (aka: God’s Timing and a Few Miracles in Code)

Here’s the wild part of all this...

The further we go, the more I realize — I’m not just walking The Right Path... I’m running it with a jetpack.

Because technology has been advancing so fast, it’s like the tools are finally catching up to the vision I’ve had in my heart for years. And believe me: that’s saying something, because this vision is BIG.

I won’t bore you with all the details — honestly, I can barely keep track of the names myself. Unreal Engine this, motion capture that, AI-powered facial animation here, lip-syncing wizardry there. It’s like trying to ride a rollercoaster while reading the instruction manual... backwards.

But here’s what matters:

• Real-time tools like Unreal Engine 5.6 are making it easier to create cinematic experiences that look and feel like big-budget productions.

• AI-assisted animation and mocap (motion capture) is improving in leaps and bounds — which means soon I won’t need an army of animators. Just some courage, creativity… and maybe a few snacks.

• Speech-to-face technology is helping me bring characters to life with real emotion — syncing their faces to dialogue in ways that used to take entire studios to achieve.

Even more exciting? Most of this tech wasn’t ready when I first started The Right Path.

But now? It’s not just ready — it’s perfectly timed.

Which feels… intentional.

I believe that when God gives you a calling, He also makes a way.

And for me, that “way” just happens to include software updates and GPU upgrades. 😄

So yes — the technology is getting better. Faster. Smarter.

But The Right Path isn’t about tech. It’s about truth.

Technology is just the brush — the message is the masterpiece.

And thanks to these tools, I can finally paint the vision the way I’ve always seen it:

Bold. Emotional. Spirit-led. Unapologetically free.

The dream is becoming a reality…

One frame at a time.
