Entertainment That Moves You!

We don’t fill the silence with noise.

We create stories that gently find their way into your heart —

the kind that make you laugh out loud one moment...

and quietly reach for a tissue the next.

Here, imagination and meaning hold hands.

Every frame, every word, every choice is crafted with care —

because the best entertainment doesn’t just entertain...

it touches, it lingers, and sometimes... it changes you.

This is where This & That Entertainment lives —
where stories don’t just pass the time...
they become part of yours.

Why Entertainment Matters

The Oldest Spark in the Human Heart

BC.jpg

Before there were theaters, there was fire.
Before movie screens, there were stars.
Before radios or streaming services ever existed...
there was simply one person sitting beside another, saying, “Let me tell you what happened.”

And just like that — entertainment was born.

It wasn’t created by studios or executives.
It was already woven deep inside us.

In the rhythm of a drum around the fire...
In the flicker of torchlight on a cave wall...
In the elder’s voice telling stories to wide-eyed children...
In the laughter shared after a long, hard day.

Entertainment is ancient.
It is necessary.
It is one of the beautiful ways humanity has always survived — and reminded itself what it means to be human.

We have always needed more than bread and shelter.
We needed meaning.
We needed wonder.
We needed stories that helped us make sense of the stars above us, the storms around us, and the quiet longings within our own hearts.

Long before technology, people gathered with what they had — voice, song, memory, and story. Entertainment lived in the village, the feast, the holy day. A song could teach history. A dance could honor God. A simple parable could whisper truth straight into the heart.

A good story has always had that quiet power...
to sneak past our defenses, sit down beside us, and gently say,
“Look at this.”

And in that moment, we see ourselves — our courage, our fears, our hope, our grief, and our deepest longings.

The Written Words

Then came writing. Stories no longer died with the storyteller.

A book could carry a whole world in someone’s hands.

It became one of the strangest and most beautiful miracles we’ve ever normalized — ink and imagination turning pages into journeys.

Cinema

Then came cinema, and the campfire became a glowing wall. People gathered in dark theaters with strangers and watched light move. For the first time, dreams could be photographed, heroes could fall in slow motion, and entire worlds could come alive on the screen.

Radio

Radio carried voices into living rooms. Families gathered around speakers, imagining entire worlds from sound alone. A creaking door, a villain’s laugh, or a hero’s quiet promise could stir the heart without a single image.

Television

Television brought the glowing wall into the home. Characters became weekly visitors. Stories stretched across seasons, turning strangers on a screen into familiar friends who sat with families week after week.

Interactivity

And then came interactivity. Games asked a new question: “Do you want to step inside the story?” Choice moved to the center. Now we don’t just watch heroes — sometimes we become them.

Why It Matters

We don’t create entertainment because life is meaningless and we need distraction.
We create it because life is meaningful — and sometimes we need help seeing it.

We need stories that remind us courage is possible.
We need laughter that breaks tension.
We need beauty that makes us pause.
We need characters who fail, fall, get back up, and keep walking.
We need villains that show us the danger of pride and greed.
We need heroes that show us sacrifice, mercy, and hope.

We need wonder.
Real wonder.

Because the best entertainment doesn’t just pass the time.
It touches.
It lingers.
And sometimes... it changes you.

This & That Entertainment

At This & That Entertainment, that is where we begin — with the oldest spark in the human heart.

We believe stories should have both light and shadow.
Joy and grief.
Laughter and tears.
Faith and honest questions.

We don’t make background noise.
We craft stories with heart, imagination, and purpose — stories that respect you, the audience.

Come closer.
Look deeper.
Feel something.

There is more here than you think.
