Constantia "Conny" Garcia is the youngest of 8 siblings and the only girl in the bunch as well. Because boys will be boys she was always being picked on relentlessly by her brothers, especially by the two youngest Garcia boys. The one thing that Conny could count on though is that, if she was being picked on or even bullied, at least one of her brothers would come to the rescue!

Her parents migrated to the USA from Spain that was under the regime of Franco at the time. Her father, Antonio, was one of those guys that had ALL the luck... and NO it wasn’t the bad type. He got hired on at a construction company working for a man that knew of Antonio’s plight from Spain. Antonio was a good hard worker and eventually would take over the construction company building a lot of the new buildings in Los Diego.

 

Antonio moved his family to a very nice upscale neighborhood out of the city were all of his children were able to go to great schools. One of those schools, the high school, is were Conny met Helkena, they both hit it off REALLY great and became the best of friends, they were virtually inseparable, even to this day!
